As a devoted critical care nurse for over 35 years, I have become an expert in the struggles that face healthcare providers to obtain rapid, accurate and reliable 12-lead EKGs to help physician's swiftly diagnose and triage acute coronary events for emergent coronary interventions.

The more expeditious that a 12-lead EKG is obtained, the quicker the diagnosis can be made and treatment can begin which can significantly reduce patient morbidity and mortality and subsequently advantageously affect patient outcomes while reducing hospital costs. To that end, we are faced with a propitious need to update our EKG technology in hospitals, clinics, offices and in EMS.

Together with mechanical engineers, I have designed a revolutionary concept for a contemporized housing of the 12-lead EKG machine that will harness the latest technology available to improve the quality, speed, ease, reliability and transmission of 12-lead EKG acquisition.

 

This results in benefits for both patients and healthcare workers by refining and creating a more agile template for easier acquisition of 12-lead EKGs.
